The Antique Company East Bay is tucked into a corner building between the Troutsman and Traverse Bay Woolen Company, across from the curving East Grand Traverse Bay shoreline. It's easy to miss but well worth the effort to find. The Antique Company actually houses 25 selective dealers who promise to find whatever you're seeking. Open daily between May and December, it's open on Friday and weekends only between January and April.

Antique Emporium

An excellent collection of antiques from toys to Tiffany await visitors to the Antiques Emporium, just off U.S. 31 South. You'll find fine art, lamps and furniture and other general items.

Bay West Antiques

You'll spot Bay West Antiques with its large glass storefront and ever-changing, whimsical messages out front. Inside you'll find a large array of antiques, collectibles and selected crafts.

Chum's Corner Antique Mall

The Chum's Corner Antique Mall is virtually a furniture gallery. You'll find Victorian, primitive, revival and wicker pieces as well as linens, glass, china, sports collectibles, postcards, kitchen items, toys and dolls offered by a number of dealers.

Walt's Antiques

Walt's Antiques is known for its vintage gas pumps, globes and advertising displayed near the entrance to this Old Mission peninsula shop. Also featured are fine china glassware, vintage clothing, buttons and jewelry as well as a general line of antiques. Though it's open most of the year, call ahead for winter hours.

Wilson Antiques

Centrally located in the heart of downtown, Wilson's Antiques features the wares of more than 50 quality dealers. Fine antiques and collectibles are shown on four floors in a building that had previously been a longtime furniture store.

Leelanau County

The Old Library

The Old Library is an appropriate name for this 1920s-era historic building. Today, this former library houses quality antiques along with a lovely selection of contemporary gifts. The shop is open daily during the summer and on a reduced schedule during the remainder of the year. Call ahead for off-season hours.

Bird-In-Hand

This is the spot to shop for vintage clothing, accessories and, especially, hats from the 1800s to the 1920s. You'll also find linens, petit point accessories, glassware and furniture. This shop is filled with Victorian charm. Hours vary, so call ahead.

Grandma's Trunk

Grandma's Trunk carries a general line of antiques with an added emphasis on antique paper, trade cards, postcards and local crafts. You can buy dried flowers in bulk or choose from the many ready-made arrangements often in antique containers that are on display. Grandma's Trunk is open from May to December.

Applegate Collection

Applegate Collection is the antique wicker connection for the region. The shop also carries antique and new accessories. The wicker has been cited by House Beautiful magazine for its quality.

Danbury Antiques

Danbury Antiques specializes in quality English smalls for the discriminating collector. Items include brasses, boxes, ceramics ranging from ink wells to candlesticks to coal scuttles. These miniatures were selected for the shop during frequent buying trips throughout England.

Leelanau Architectural Antiques carries a unique selection of quality American antiques, stained and beveled glass windows, doors, fireplace mantles and furniture crafted in oak, cherry and walnut. This shop is open from May to November and by appointment.
